Terms of Service

Last updated: [DATE]

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the 1010Grow application and services ("the Service"), operated by [LEGAL NAME — e.g., Adam Consulting] ("we," "us," "our"). By using the Service you agree to these Terms.

The Service

1010Grow is a software application that helps you track spending decisions, redirect would-be spending into investing, practice with a paper-trading (simulated) portfolio, and — for Premium subscribers — connect your own brokerage account to place self-directed trades that you initiate.

Not investment advice

1010Grow does not provide investment, financial, legal, accounting, or tax advice, and is not your investment adviser, broker-dealer, or fiduciary. Nothing in the Service — including the Buffett Analysis — is a recommendation that any security, investment, or strategy is suitable for you. All decisions are made by you, at your own risk. See our Risk Disclosure and Buffett Analysis Disclaimer.

Subscriptions and billing

1010Grow offers a free tier and a Premium subscription. On iOS, Premium is sold through Apple In-App Purchase and managed through your Apple ID subscription settings. On the web, Premium is sold through Stripe. Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled, and you may cancel at any time through the platform you purchased on. ⚠️ CONFIRM pricing/renewal terms match your store listings.

No warranties

The Service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis, without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, secure, or error-free, or that data (including prices, balances, and the Buffett Analysis) will be accurate, complete, or current. Market data and account information may be delayed, inaccurate, or unavailable.

Third-party brokerages and services

1010Grow facilitates connections to third-party brokerage and data providers, including Alpaca and Charles Schwab, and to payment processors, including Apple, Stripe, and RevenueCat. We are not responsible or liable for:

Your use of any third-party brokerage is governed by that brokerage's own agreements, and you are responsible for complying with them.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we, our affiliates, or our suppliers be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for any loss of profits, trading or investment losses, data loss, or goodwill, arising out of or relating to your use of the Service — even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total aggregate liability for all claims relating to the Service will not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim, or (b) one hundred U.S. dollars ($100).

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain exclusions or limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

Your responsibilities

You are solely responsible for your investment decisions, for safeguarding your account and credentials, and for any trades placed through your connected brokerage accounts. You agree to use the Service in compliance with all applicable laws.

Changes and termination

We may modify or discontinue the Service, or update these Terms, at any time. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We may suspend or terminate access for violation of these Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [STATE — e.g., California], without regard to conflict-of-laws principles.
