Information we collect

Account information

When you register, we collect your email address and authentication information needed to create and secure your account. Registration may require an invite code.

Brokerage connection data (Premium)

To provide live trading for Premium subscribers, we handle brokerage connection data:

• Alpaca: an API key and API secret that you generate in your own Alpaca account and provide to the app.
• Charles Schwab: authorization obtained through Schwab's official OAuth flow. You log in directly with Schwab using your own credentials; we never receive or store your Schwab username or password. We store the access and refresh tokens Schwab issues to maintain the connection you authorized.

We also handle account information returned by these providers (such as balances, positions, and order activity) to display it to you and execute trades you initiate.

Push notifications ⚠️ CONFIRM: keep if app sends push via Firebase

If you enable notifications, we collect a device push token through Firebase Cloud Messaging in order to send you alerts. You can disable notifications at any time in your device settings.

How we protect brokerage credentials

• Brokerage API keys and secrets are encrypted before being stored and are decrypted only at the moment they are needed to carry out an action you have initiated.
• Credentials and tokens are transmitted only over encrypted (TLS/HTTPS) connections.
• We do not display your stored API secret back to you after entry, and we take measures to avoid writing credentials to application logs.

How we use your information

We use your information solely to provide and operate the Service — creating your account, connecting your brokerage, displaying your information, executing trades you initiate, sending notifications you enable, and providing support. We do not sell your personal information or brokerage data, and we do not use your brokerage credentials or account data for advertising.

Payment information

Subscriptions are processed by third parties: Apple In-App Purchase (via RevenueCat) on iOS, and Stripe on the web. We do not collect or store your full payment-card details; those are handled by the respective payment processor under its own privacy policy.

Sharing and third parties

Your data is also handled by the third parties you connect to or that power the Service, each under its own privacy policy, including: your connected brokerage (Alpaca, Charles Schwab), payment processors (Apple, Stripe, RevenueCat), and infrastructure providers ⚠️ CONFIRM: e.g., Amazon Web Services, Firebase/Google. We share information with these providers only as needed to operate the Service, or where required by law.

Data retention and deletion

We retain your information for as long as your account is active. You can disconnect a brokerage account at any time from within the app, which deletes the associated stored credentials or revokes the stored tokens. You may request deletion of your account and associated data by contacting us at [SUPPORT EMAIL]. You may also revoke brokerage access directly with your provider.

Children's privacy

The Service is not directed to children under 18, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. ⚠️ CONFIRM age threshold matches your App Store age rating.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. Material changes will be reflected by the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, communicated in the app.
